Just cause they're so cute and little.
I googled Muntjac Deer and used one of the images that came up as a ref.
Then I attacked the background with the ferocity of someone who doesn't know what they're doing and making it up as they go.
The legs are a little funky, and I didn't have any good refs of the feet, but I don't think it looks too bad...
